The Roughneck is a trucker jacket that reclaims the workwear heritage of the iconic Type 3 trucker. We’ve reinterpreted the original’s cropped, slim-fitting silhouette, adding a little extra length and room for comfort and versatility. Crafted from rugged roughout suede, it’s a hard-wearing piece that balances everyday utility with timeless style.

Roughout 101

Conventional suede is created by splitting the hide and buffing it for a velvety finish, but roughout suede is a cut above. Made from full-grain leather that’s reversed to wear the rough side out, it offers the rugged texture of suede without sacrificing the hide’s durability. We add a final tanning step to refine our roughout suede, leaving it with a silkier hand than you’d expect—and a finish that will age wonderfully.

Built for Use

Tailored for everyday comfort, the Roughneck’s aesthetic treads familiar vintage territory. We’ve used antique-finish jean buttons, with buttoned cuffs, adjusters at the back of the waist, and a classic four-pocket front. A quilted liner and an extra pocket sit inside, while a small slit in the left chest pocket flap creates a handy spot to hang your shades.

Like any good piece of heritage workwear, the Roughneck has everything you need and nothing you don’t.
